Website analytics software tracks which pages on a website are viewed by each visitor.

Every time an individual page is viewed on a website it is counted as a page view. If a single user navigates away from a page and then returns to it, this will count as two page views.

Unique page views count the number of times an individual page as been viewed by each unique visitor.
