Avalere Health, a global strategic partner for the healthcare industry, has announced the appointment of Sarah Hall as its new President of US Marketing.

Hall most recently spent 13 years at FCB Health New York, where she held the roles of Managing Partner and then President. Hall has also held leadership positions at companies including Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness and Arnold Worldwide.

Hall’s expertise in direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing will be useful in her new role, in which she will guide Avalere towards new DTC commercialisation pathways and cement firm partnerships in an era of change for the US healthcare system.

Amar Urhekar, CEO of Avalere, said: “Sarah brings deep sector experience and exceptional agency leadership with proven results. She’s a fantastic addition to our leadership team, with an incredible talent for galvanizing people in uncovering the unexpected, moving solutions that truly reach every patient possible.”

As President of US Marketing, Hall will guide Avalere’s US marketing agency teams across Development, Creative and Media, and Access Marketing and Learning. She aims, through her leadership on US marketing, to drive success for biopharmaceutical and health technology partners in an era of both political complexity and digital innovation, as well as to build engagements with wide patient reach.

Avalere’s US marketing agency focuses on therapeutic areas including rare diseases, oncology, precision medicines, specialty pharma and medical devices. Hall will build on Avalere’s legacy of product launch and omnichannel marketing to further its data and analytics capabilities.

Hall said: “Stepping into Amar’s Global Leadership Team is a responsibility I take seriously and with great enthusiasm. What inspires me most is the strength of this organisation – the ability to unite marketing, media, AI and policy expertise to create meaningful impact for clients and the patients they support.”
