Italian CRO Cromsource has appointed Dr Christian Milla as the global head of its medical division.
Dr Milla, who joins the company after spending five years running his own healthcare and biotech consultancy, will also serve as the Verona-based company’s country manager in France.
Comsource’s CEO Oriana Zerbini said: “Christian’s experience and expertise will add significant value to the Cromsource team as we continue our quest to be the partner of choice for our current and future clients by guaranteeing project delivery on time to a fixed budget.
“Furthermore, our operations in France continue to grow as demand for our services there increases year on year. Christian’s management of Cromsource in France will also, therefore, be of great importance.”
Dr Milla has spent more than 20 years working in the pharmaceutical industry, during which time he spent three years as CEO of French clinical stage research company Osmo. Earlier in his career he had a two-year spell at Abbott Laboratories, where he served as a project manager for European clinical development.
