London-based communications agency Hill+Knowlton (H+K) has appointed Mary Hicks as a director in its healthcare division.
In this role she will run UK programmes for a number of pharmaceutical companies while also leading the agency’s Harley St. Clinic account.
Over her 20-year career, Hicks’ healthcare public relations experience has covered creative media campaigns, stakeholder engagement programmes, and working with advocacy groups.
She has developed several Communiqué Award-winning campaigns, led Bristol-Myers Squibb’s immuno-oncology portfolio, and also co-founded the PR agency Clew Communications.
“Mary is a great asset to our team and clients with her deep understanding of the communications needs of the pharmaceutical industry and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels,” said Sue Cook, managing director, Healthcare and Medical Knowledge Group, H+K.
Hick’s appointment is one of several recent additions to H+K’s Healthcare team that include those of David Bowen as global head of healthcare and Sue Cook as managing director at the London office.
