imc appoints London and Toronto managing directors

Graeme Reay and Dr Azhar Rana join the med comms agency

imc Graeme ReayLondon-headquartered integrated medhealth communications (imc) has added two new managing directors to its senior leadership team.

Graeme Reay (pictured right) takes up the role of managing director of imc Global, based out of its London office, while Dr Azhar Rana will lead the medical communications agency’s newly launched North American hub, serving as its managing director and vice president.

Bringing 30 years of healthcare industry experience, Reay joins imc from Health Interactions where he most recently served as director of client service for Europe. Prior to this, Reay was regional director, Europe for Nucleus Global, the London-based medical communications agency.

His role at imc will include responsibility for the daily operations of imc Global, plus the development and growth of its global, European, UK and MEA businesses.

Dr Azhar RanaDr Rana (pictured left), meanwhile, is a trained general medicine practitioner with a clinical background and has held a number of senior medical positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novo Nordisk and most recently at AstraZeneca.

He will oversee the new Toronto office – the agency’s first international location – bringing imc’s medhealth offering to the North American market.
