Genmab, an international biotech company, has appointed Matt Kiely as the General Manager for the UK. Headquartered in Copenhagen, Genmab specialises in antibody-based science and is expanding its presence in Europe in an effort to bring its innovative antibody-based medicines to more patients with cancer.
In his role, Matt will lead the UK business operations, ensuring the success of future product launches and supporting Genmab’s mission to bring innovative medicines to more patients.
Matt joins Genmab with more than 20 years of industry experience, with a specialty in oncology and haematology. He has held senior leadership positions at companies including GSK, Takeda and Stemline Therapeutics where he was responsible for establishing and building the company’s commercialisation organisation in Europe.
“Matt’s track record in building high-performing organisations and launching successful cancer therapies makes him the ideal leader to drive our expansion in the UK, ensuring that we can deliver on our goal to bring treatments to patients in need,” said Brad Bailey, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
