Parexel adds four to senior leadership team

Appoints David Godwin, Michelle Graham, Sy Pretorius and Joshua Schultz

Parexel Josh SchultzParexel has appointed four of its executives to its senior leadership team, promoting David Godwin, Michelle Graham, Sy Pretorius and Joshua Schultz.

Chairman and CEO Josef von Rickenbach said: “Parexel has a history of growth, innovation and leadership that spans more than 30 years, and these leaders have played an important role in our success.

“Our corporate strategy is to enhance our leadership in the biopharmaceutical services industry by focusing on our core business and capturing new growth from adjacent markets.”

The expertise of the four as they join Parexel’s senior-most leadership team, the Business Review Committee, would be tapped as the company seeks to implement its strategic objectives and further transform, von Rickenbach added.

Like the other new Business Review Committee members, Schultz – who is senior vice president, worldwide head of Parexel Access – will retain his existing responsibilities. Having joined the company in 2005, Schultz oversees its global late phase business.

Godwin joined Parexel in 1989 and is responsible for the business development efforts for many of the company’s services.

Graham, who is responsible for the design and launch of the company’s people strategy, talent agenda and refined human resources operating model. joined Parexel in 2015.

Finally, Pretorius has been with the firm since 1996. As chief scientific officer he will continue to be responsible for the overall leadership of several service offerings.
