
Prime Global People has appointed James Karcher as global EVP, Medical Communications, AI and Digital Healthcare.
Graeme Peterson, chair and group CEO said: “James has…managed global communications, publications and scientific strategy through times of change, [and] has also integrated digital tools, data and analytics, and AI to elevate impact.”
In his new role, Karcher will oversee Prime’s medcomms division, with a focus on strengthening the company’s use of technology and data-driven approaches. This will include expanding the use of AI-enabled communications, omnichannel engagement and advanced analytics to optimise scientific exchange and client outcomes.
Prior to joining Prime, Karcher served as chief commercial officer at huumun, a digital-focused healthcare marketing agency. He has also held senior leadership positions at LiNK Health Group, McCann Health, IPG Health and Caudex Medical, where he was global head and managing director from 2015 to 2021.
