Word Monster has announced the appointment of Dave Taylor-Langdale as managing director of the UK office, effective from the beginning of August 2024. The decision follows a strategic company-wide leadership restructure to prime the agency for growth and further the mission to transform healthcare communications worldwide.
Taylor-Langdale joined Word Monster as a contractor in August 2018 before taking a permanent seat as editorial director in September 2022. He has over a decade of experience in medical communications, marketing, account direction and digital team leadership. In March 2023 he took on the additional role of marketing director, driving commercial growth and redefining the agency’s core mission and strategic direction.
Taylor-Langdale has held various roles at, among others, Swordfish Advertising and Strategy Internet Marketing, and was also a freelance medical writer. He is the author of the ‘Rare Disease Club’ book series.
