BMI Healthcare has appointed online physician community Doctors.net.uk to help highlight its services to GPs, while also raising awareness of the potential options available to patients if treatment is unavailable on the NHS.
The 12-month online campaign will include a microsite for the private health company that features various resources, including news items on private healthcare, polls and case studies.

BMI Healthcare is the largest independent provider of private health care in the UK, with over 70 hospitals and healthcare facilities, and forms the acute private hospital division of General Healthcare Group.
The campaign will aim to inform GPs about the services BMI Healthcare offers to patients and highlight alternatives to NHS services. The healthcare provider manages treatment in a number of speciality areas, including cancer, cardiology, otolaryngology, neurology and urology.
