Kane & Finkel Healthcare Communications has announced today that John Flaherty has been appointed to the role of European director. Flaherty will be based out of the agency’s London office and responsible for directing the creation and delivery of integrated, multi-channel campaigns for pan-European clients, leading business development for the region.
John’s agency experience includes leadership positions at GSW Worldwide, Lowe Healthcare, Sudler & Hennessey, and Huntsworth Health. He has led the development of award-winning strategies and creative campaigns in many prescription, device, diagnostic, and OTC categories.
Additionally, as former director of communications at the UK’s Health Education Authority, he developed internationally recognised public health campaigns for AIDS, smoking cessation, childhood immunisation, and heart disease.
