New UK leadership roles at WPP Health Practice

Comms group WPP Health Practice has announced two senior appointments in the UK, with Caroline Howe taking on the newly created UK Country Lead position and Simon Stebbing promoted to UK chief executive of Wunderman Thompson Health.

In her new role, Caroline Howe will oversee teams across the UK’s WPP Health Practice brands including Sudler London, Ogilvy Health, WG Access, Wunderman Thompson Health London and Darwin Healthcare Communications.

Caroline has over 25 years’ experience in healthcare integrated marketing having been a practice lead or client lead in advertising, digital, PR, and medical education.

She will remain as CEO of Ogilvy Health in the UK and report into International CEO WPP Health Practice, Claire Gillis.

Simon Stebbing, former managing director of digital and advertising at Ogilvy Health UK, will now lead the team at Wunderman Thompson Health in London. He will retain his role as international head of Digital for WPP Health Practice and report into Claire Gillis, International CEO, WPP Health Practice.

As Wunderman Thompson Health continues to build out its offering in Europe, Simon will also work with Becky Chidester, CEO Wunderman Thompson Health.

Caroline and Simon will be tasked with continuing the expansion of the WPP Health Practice offer across the UK, drawing on expertise and capabilities within the group to encompass pharmaceuticals, OTC, Prescription medicine, eCommerce, health insurers and hospitals.

Data, insight, technology and creativity will continue to play a major role in the client work they undertake.
