Healthcare consultancy Prescient Healthcare Group has completed the integration of recently acquired businesses Uptake and Dolon under a single global Prescient brand, creating an organisation of more than 550 specialists supporting life sciences companies across commercial strategy, competitive intelligence, medical affairs and value, pricing and access.
The rebrand marks the final stage of integrating the three businesses following Prescient’s acquisitions of Uptake and Dolon, providing clients with a single point of access to expertise spanning the pharmaceutical product life cycle.
Jason McKenna, CEO of Prescient, said: “Over the past several months, the Prescient, Dolon and Uptake teams have been working together to solve increasingly complex challenges for clients. Bringing everything together under the Prescient name reflects how the platform works today, as one integrated organisation combining specialist expertise across commercial, medical and market access disciplines.”
The unified business supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from early clinical development through product launch and life cycle management. Prescient said the integrated structure enables multidisciplinary teams to address increasingly connected commercial, scientific and market access challenges facing the industry.
The evolution reflects a broader way of partnering with life sciences organisations as they face increasingly interconnected scientific, commercial, medical and market access decisions. As a strategy-to-impact partner, Prescient helps clients move from insight, to strategy, to implementation, connecting the expertise needed at each stage of an asset’s journey, from early development through launch and life cycle optimisation.
The unified Prescient brand also simplifies how clients engage with the business. Rather than navigating multiple brands, clients now access one connected organisation with specialist expertise across Commercial Strategy and Planning; Competitive Strategy; Medical Affairs and Real-World Evidence; and Value, Pricing and Access
The integration follows a period of operational alignment between the three organisations and establishes a single global Prescient brand across its seven international offices.
