Succinct and ecancer team up on oncology education events

Will work together to support HCPs

Succinct ecancer partnershipHealthcare communications agency Succinct Medical Communications is to work with the online oncology network ecancer to develop a series of educational events for the cancer community.

The partners will put on events for healthcare professionals to attend and learn about innovations in oncology utilising the expertise of both organisations.

Succinct, part of the OPEN Health network of agencies, has experience in running educational programmes for the major pharma players in oncology while ecancer hosts thousands of expert videos, journal articles and educational modules.

Prof Gordon McVie, founder of ecancer, explained the educational opportunities offered by the partnership will go beyond the physical events.

He said: ”Busy medical professionals want the freedom and flexibility to participate in live educational events as well as watch online when and where they want; we are about providing extra value to an event through innovation and interaction, and giving it wider dissemination and more impact at no cost to the oncologist.

Succinct’s chairman Sean McGrath discussed why the company chose to work with ecancer, which was launched in 2007 and now has 40,000 visitors every month and 10,500 registered members of the ecancer club.

“We have been an admirer of the ecancer brand, along with its scientific credibility and impressive dissemination abilities since its inception,” he said. “I am convinced that the partnership will be extremely effective and attractive to our pharmaceutical partners, as well as the healthcare professional oncology community.”
