Fox&Cat

We cut through the noise to deliver health communications that are clear, strategic and effective – helping our clients navigate complexity with confidence and impact.

Like the fox and the cat, we combine strategic intelligence with agility in action. This balance defines how we work: clever in our thinking, decisive in our delivery, and always focused on outcomes that drive healthier lives.

Our approach is built to integrate seamlessly with your structure, culture and resources. Led by senior experts and supported by a curated network of 70 specialists, we scale up or down depending on your needs, without the cost or bureaucracy of a traditional agency setup. That means more budget for delivery, less on overheads, and faster, more flexible mobilisation in-market.

At the heart of how we operate is ADAPT™ – our proprietary, impact-first planning framework. Co-created with clients and procurement leads, ADAPT™ brings structure and clarity to every stage of your programme. It ensures we align on purpose, design strategically, deliver efficiently, measure continuously and evolve in real time – transforming communications from reactive activity into measurable, sustained impact.

Across awareness, advocacy, crisis, corporate and digital communications, our work is designed to make a difference where it counts. With 95–97% client satisfaction year-on-year and 12 industry awards in three years, we’re proof that clarity and connection outperform noise and complexity, every time.

#Wellbeing Week: Let’s tackle pressure

Hear from Paul Hutchings, founder of foxandcat.online, with tips and advice to help your comms team thrive under pressure

Success is most powerful when it’s shared

We believe that true growth goes beyond profits – it empowers us to reinvest in our team, support pro bono initiatives, and create meaningful impact alongside a profitable business.

Our pro bono work focuses on the issues that matter most to health and wellbeing – areas where communications can create real, lasting change.

Minds on Matters
Mental health shapes how we live and work, yet too often goes unspoken. Minds on Matters is our commitment to improving mental wellbeing across the communications industry — not by focusing on the negatives, but by sharing the positive examples of what’s working. Through four sessions run in partnership with the HCA, we are showcasing real-time challenges and stories of progress, helping teams talk openly, reduce stigma and build practical ways to support healthier people and workplaces.

Under the Tree
Between 2023 and 2025, we helped almost 6,000 communications professionals better manage stress and pressure across the industry. After taking part, 90% said they felt more empowered to cope. This campaign won 6 awards in our industry for its innovation, courage and impact.

Thinking Different
Almost 20% of people in communications are neurodivergent — and they experience higher levels of stress than average. We created a campaign to shift the narrative, ensuring neurodiversity is both celebrated and supported in the workplace, reducing stress and building stronger, more inclusive teams.

Me & My MenoPAUSE
A lack of open communication between employers and those experiencing menopause creates unnecessary anxiety. Working with the HCA, we helped drive a national conversation that encouraged better dialogue and understanding — generating more than 3,500 engagements in just six months.

Creating Healthy Communities
Healthy individuals thrive in healthy communities. Partnering with Lions, we’ve supported the creation of new member networks across the South of England — helping more people play an active role in building stronger, healthier local communities.
