Lucid Group shine the spotlight on mental and physical health

- PMLiVE

Lucid kick-started its health and wellbeing agenda for the year with a focus on physical and mental wellbeing by taking inspiration from an elite sportsman, James Rodwell. James, a decorated rugby sevens player and coach, joined the team at their new London office, Middlesex House, to give some great motivational advice on how to keep fit and enjoy daily physical activity in our busy lives.

James is collaborating with Lucid’s healthcare provider, Vitality, to roadshow some top tips on goal setting to improve mental and physical health. During the session, James talked about his career and professional highlights, the challenges he’s faced, and the lessons learnt about how mental and physical health are interlinked when developing wellbeing. It was a totally immersive session with people either in attendance personally or joining in via a live stream to watch the presentation and ask questions.

This was the first of many wellbeing activities Lucid are delivering throughout the year, supported by Lucid’s wellbeing champions who will also have the opportunity to complete a Mental Health First Aid Course with St John Ambulance – providing support to their teams when they need it most.

Angela Young, HR Director, Lucid Group, commented, “Supporting our team’s wellbeing is a top priority for the Group. We are building on the success of last year’s activities, such as the yoga, massage and meditations, to build a broader, more comprehensive offering to our employees – supporting them to look after their overall health, including mind, body and soul.”
