The ESPGHAN Congress in Milan was full of impact as Medscape Education Global presented 5 scientific posters examining the outcomes of their education. The posters detailed the impact Medscape Education Global programs had on clinician knowledge, competence, and confidence, as well as the results of a survey on clinical gaps in Cholestatic Liver Diseases. All 5 posters are now available online.
“This was one of our bigger conferences in terms of our publications. Our programs engaged clinicians from around the world, and we were able to glean insights from their learning behavior in order to see how they were impacted in terms of knowledge, competence, and confidence. The results showed us a lot about how effective our education is, while also revealing learning opportunities for the future. We were thrilled to present this impact at EPSGHAN,” said S. Christy Rohani-Montez, PhD.

As the allergic march places a considerable burden on infants, children, families, and healthcare systems, appropriate interventions supported by evidence need to be implemented to reduce this impact. Whilst this educational activity significantly increased knowledge regarding this, there is still a high unmet need for further education.
