Medscape Celebrates Eight Groundbreaking Publications at ATS 2025 International Conference

Medscape Education is proud to announce the presentation of eight innovative educational research publications at the American Thoracic Society (ATS) 2025 International Conference, held May 16–21 in San Francisco, CA. This recognition marks a significant milestone, further establishing Medscape as a leader in advancing medical education, clinical practice, and public health impact in the field of pulmonary disease. 

Of the eight accepted publications, seven were authored by Sara Thorpe, MPH, Director, Clinical Strategist, and Lindsay Tanskey, PhD, Senior Grant Developer focusing on COPD and Asthma, while Margaret Harris, PhD, CHCP, Senior Director and Team Lead, Clinical Strategist, led the eighth, centered on pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Together, these studies underscore Medscape’s commitment to delivering interdisciplinary, impactful continuing medical education that results in measurable improvements in clinician knowledge, confidence, and patient outcomes.

Each of these publications represents a rigorous outcomes-based analysis of educational interventions that enhanced clinician competencies and translated into significant behavior practice changes. From virtual patient simulations to microlearning modules and web-based CME series, Medscape’s strategies are grounded in adult learning principles and evidence-based design.
