Medscape’s Impact on Women’s Health Education: Key Publications at ISSWSH 2025 & Beyond

Just in time for Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day on March 8th, Medscape is proud to showcase its dedication to advancing women’s health education. Sara Thorpe, MPH, Director, Clinical Strategy will present two significant publications at the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) Annual Meeting from February 27 to March 2, 2025. ISSWSH leads the way in research, education, and clinical practice to advance women’s sexual health, promoting informed care and public awareness. Medscape aligns with this mission by connecting medical education, clinical advancements, and patient care knowledge to drive meaningful change in women’s health.

Medscape’s Year-Round Commitment to Women’s Health

In March, as part of our commitment to gender equality, we are launching #AccelerateAction, a global initiative aligned with IWD to drive progress for women by removing systemic barriers and promoting advancement. However, Medscape’s commitment does not stop there! Our dedication extends beyond March with initiatives like:

  • The Innovations in Women’s Health Coalition (IWHC): A collaborative learning center initiative led by Medscpae and leading women’s health organizations that strive for a future where all women have equal access to quality healthcare and opportunities for optimal health and well-being. Founding members include: the American Medical Association (AMA), March of Dimes, National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), and Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR).
  • Women’s Health Master Class: Modernizing Women’s Health: Elevating Quality Care for Everyday is a two-day virtual CME event designed to address the disparities in women’s health and empower clinicians with the essential tools to bridge critical gaps in women’s care.
  • Hear from Her Podcast: A women-led podcast amplifying and elevating the experiences, perspectives, and insights of women leaders to advance women’s health and gender equality.
