February 13, 2026 | ACC26, Cardiology Education, HeartMonth

While February is known as the month of love, it is also National Heart Month, a time for highlighting the importance of cardiovascular health. For healthcare professionals, these two observances are deeply connected, because at the heart of exceptional patient care lies a dual commitment: staying ahead of evolving clinical knowledge and translating that expertise into information patients can understand and act upon. Medscape CME programs are designed to support that commitment, delivering education at a scale that creates meaningful impact. Since the start of the year, we’ve highlighted our commitment to heart health by participating in the National Wear Red Day campaign and hosting our annual Heart of Cardiology Conference.
In 2025 alone, Medscape CME programs reached more than 785,000 learners, including 150,000+ physicians. Their enthusiasm for learning, combined with our instructional excellence, proved to be a winning combination. Learners demonstrated impressive gains in knowledge, competence, and confidence, from which we created 14 publications on our findings to share at medical conferences worldwide. If each physician saw an average of 30+ patients per month in 2025, our 78 CME programs would have improved over 5 million patient visits.
We kicked off 2026 with our annual Heart of Cardiology conference, where physicians connected with colleagues, learned from world-renowned faculty, and gained the latest insights to elevate their practice and improve patient outcomes. New this year, clinicians also enhanced their expertise and transformed information into confident clinical decisions with Medscape’s AI-powered ChatMedEd.
Partnership and collective action don’t just enhance our impact—they multiply it. This February, Medscape proudly participated in the National Wear Red campaign to emphasize the importance of cardiovascular health and the power of information, joining forces with organizations across the healthcare ecosystem. We amplify our ability to educate and save lives through nearly two dozen valued partners.
We’re not slowing down anytime soon. We plan to make an even bigger impact at the upcoming American College of Cardiology Scientific Session on March 28-30. Our symposia will feature cutting-edge cardiovascular topics, and we invite you to stop by Booth #227 to experience our AI-powered clinical education tools, and our full MedscapeAI suite for yourself. Access the latest evidence-based insights, clinical trials, and the most comprehensive guideline coverage with trusted medical intelligence. ACC represents the next major leap in our commitment to the cardiology community, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
This February reminds us that informed action is the deepest form of love, for both clinicians and patients. Every evidence-based decision, every guideline applied, every risk factor addressed represents care in its most meaningful form. At Medscape, we’re committed to continuing to empower the cardiology community with the knowledge needed to provide exemplary care.
