Everything Was Peachy at ACC 2024 in Atlanta, GA

- PMLiVE

The annual ACC meeting has officially wrapped up in Atlanta, bringing a successful conference to a close for another year.

During the conference, members of the Medscape team hosted a booth in the exhibit hall to chat with members and show how Medscape is transforming education in Cardiology. The booth featured the Medscape studio, a mobile filming location where faculty presented their education programs in preparation for an activity’s launch. Those activities will soon be available as digital CME on the Medscape.org website.

Thanks to our special collaboration with the American College of Cardiology, Medscape was able to provide live updates, news, and commentary from the ACC conference floor to our members, online, at the booth, and via our mobile app. That content can be viewed on the medscape.com website here.

The true highlight of the conference was the four posters Medscape presented on April 6, 2024, in the poster hall. The posters examined data from past education programs and explored their significant impact on knowledge, competence, and confidence.

The posters presented at ACC included:

“We are a data-driven, impact company, so it is very important to us to closely examine the outcomes of our education programs and publish the results. We’re consistently seeing that our cardiology programs are producing significant improvements in physicians’ knowledge, competence, and confidence, and are also having performance improvements that impact patients,” said Margaret Harris, PHD, Director, Clinical Strategy

Finally, Medscape hosted two successful symposia on topics of thrombosis and transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy. Highly experienced faculty members presented the educational content through lively and engaging discussions. Questions and comments from the clinician attendees were welcomed. Enduring content for these symposia will soon be posted on Medscape.org and available for CME credit.
