Medscape Education is proud to stand alongside the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) as a sponsor of one of the nation’s most impactful charity events benefiting patients living with kidney disease, the NKF Golf Classic.
For more than 36 years, the NKF Golf Classic has been the premier amateur charity golf event, uniting nearly 300,000 golfers nationwide and raising over $100 million to advance kidney health. Each year, golfers tee off at nearly 30 top venues across the country, playing for a chance to compete in the national finals at Pebble Beach, generating more than $3 million annually to support the NKF’s life-changing programs and patient initiatives.
“We’re proud to be sponsors of this event. With more than 73 million Americans at risk of chronic kidney disease due to diabetes, hypertension, family history, or age, it’s important to support vital organizations like the NKF, which work every day to support patients and their families. In addition to sponsorships like these, Medscape supports kidney care by providing the leading education in nephrology topics, to keep clinicians on the cutting-edge of the latest data and guidelines,” said Jess Dropkin, VP at Medscape
Medscape provides accredited continuing medical education for physicians and the entire care team. In 2025, Medscape showcased the measurable outcomes of its educational programs in nephrology through 5 scientific posters presented at major medical conferences, underscoring its commitment to improving clinician knowledge, confidence, and patient outcomes.
