The Medscape Education Global team is excited to announce its participation in Swiss Biotech Day, taking place in Basel from May 5-6. This marks our inaugural attendance at this event, where we will connect with biotech companies from across Europe.

Karen Reid, Executive Director at Medscape Education Global, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity: “We are thrilled to join Swiss Biotech Day for the first time. This event provides a unique platform to engage with organisations across Europe and to discuss how education can significantly impact patient outcomes, at speed and scale. In an industry as dynamic as biotech, continuous education is vital for raising awareness of unmet need and integrating new advancements into clinical practice. We look forward to showcasing how Medscape has been at the forefront of this mission for 30 years.”
Visitors to booth #113 will be welcomed to take a break and enjoy complimentary coffee from our barista, attendees can engage with the Medscape team to learn more about the transformative impact of education in healthcare. We will share case studies that highlight the effectiveness of our educational initiatives. For instance, a recent study focused on hematologic malignancies revealed that 79% of participating hematologists and oncologists demonstrated enhanced or reinforced knowledge regarding the role of minimal residual disease (MRD) following our educational activities. Additionally, physicians who participated in our rare disease education were found to be 45% more likely to make a diagnosis compared to a matched audience that did not engage in the education.
“This event is a significant milestone for us, and we are eager to share our expertise and the remarkable possibilities that education can unlock,” says Philippe Guedj, Executive Director, at Medscape Education Global. “We provide educational resources serving over 13 million healthcare professionals globally in six languages, all of whom rely on us for the latest data and insights to enhance their practice. We warmly invite all attendees of Swiss Biotech Day to visit our booth, enjoy a beverage, and engage in meaningful discussions to learn about the impact of medical education. We look forward to seeing you there!”
