Medscape Oncology’s Large Presence at ASH 2023

December 7, 2023 | ASH2023, Medscape Oncology, hematology

- PMLiVE

Medscape Education is returning to the annual ASH conference with eight symposia, two publications, and the opportunity for clinicians to challenge their knowledge with MedChallenge.

The eight symposia will be held on December 8 and cover the latest data and advances in topics including Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia, Multiple Myeloma, Myelofibrosis Management, and more. These engaging sessions will offer the opportunity to interact with a virtual conference platform on learners’ devices and ask questions of the esteemed faculty presenting the events. Attendees can claim CME credit by logging in to their Medscape accounts.

This year, the Medscape booth will feature MedChallenge, giving conference-goers the chance to test their knowledge and challenge their colleagues during an exciting gamified education event.

“MedChallenge is a fun and engaging learning experience for clinicians to assess their proficiency in hematology topics. With a countdown clock, a leaderboard, and plenty of friendly competition, it offers a unique and exciting approach to learning. We can’t wait for attendees to join us and give it a try during ASH,” said Chris Carey, Vice President of Sales, Medscape Oncology.

Medscape will be publishing two abstracts examining the impact and value of recent Medscape hematology education during the ASH conference. The abstracts will be available on the Blood abstracts online archive.

Abstracts:

  • The value and success of live plus online enduring CME on hematology/oncology specialists’ ability to care for patients with hematologic disorders
  • Interactive Case-based Education on Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency Improves Hematologists’ Competence in Implementing the Latest Diagnostic and      Management Approaches
