A group of general medical journal editors whose members meet annually and fund the committee’s work on the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts – a document to establish guidelines for the format of manuscripts submitted to their journals. Current members who approved the latest manuscript include the British Medical Journal, the Lancet and the Journal of the American Medical Association and Annals of Internal Medicine.
