A free web-based service, primarily aimed at healthcare professionals, which offers high quality clinical and non-clinical information taken from a wide range of academic sources. Information available via NHS Evidence includes clinical and public health guidance, government policy, patient information, drug information, systematic reviews, primary research and grey literature.
The service is provided by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence and was established in April 2009.
