World Orphan Drug Congress 2025 in Amsterdam

Medscape Education will make its debut at the World Orphan Drug Congress (WODC) 2025, taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, October 28-29.

The team will be presenting three new data-driven posters highlighting the impact of continuing medical education (CME) on real world outcomes. These presentations are a part of Medscape’s ongoing commitment to shortening the diagnostic odyssey and enabling earlier access to care for people living with a rare condition.

In addition, Medscape will highlight its Rare Disease Learning Centre — a comprehensive, multidisciplinary platform that delivers structured, evidence-based education across more than 100 rare conditions in 23 specialty areas. The learning center offers free, expert-led, practical, and clinically relevant education to equip clinicians with the knowledge, competence, and confidence needed to recognize rare diseases earlier, and enable better care.

“With a global membership of more than 13 million healthcare professionals, Medscape is in the privileged position of being able to make a real world impact in shortening the rare disease diagnostic journey,” said Christy Rohani-Montez, Medscape’s Rare Disease Education Lead. “We’’ll be presenting data showing that participating in accredited online education is directly tied to significant increases in diagnostic claims, suggesting that education shortens the diagnostic odyssey.”

Attendees are invited to visit Booth #10.309 in the exhibit hall to meet the Medscape Education team, explore the Rare Disease Learning Centre, and learn more about the organization’s initiatives to advance education in the rare disease space.
